ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Flagler OARS and Discover & Recover St. Johns County are pleased to announce their Annual Peer Workshop on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Muscovy Room, First Floor, 200 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine.
This peer-centered event brings together individuals in recovery for workshops, presentations, and networking opportunities designed by and for peers. The full-day program emphasizes mutual support, education, and community connection—core values of Flagler OARS and Discover & Recover St. Johns County's mission to serve individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder.
"Our Annual Peer Workshop is a celebration of recovery and the power of peer support," said Brock Birtolo, Executive Director of Flagler OARS and Discover & Recover St. Johns County. "This event creates a safe, welcoming space where people can connect, learn from one another, and strengthen their recovery journey."

Flagler OARS & Discover & Recovery St. Johns County are nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing education, support, and peer services to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder in Flagler County and St. Johns County. Through compassion, community engagement, and evidence-based programming, Flagler OARS works to create a stigma-free environment that fosters long-term recovery and hope.
The organizations currently distribute over 400 boxes of Narcan monthly and provide a variety of recovery support groups. The organization continues to work with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to expand recovery-friendly initiatives countywide.
