First Donation Center Benefiting Clean International Opens in Carrollwood
eTradeWire News/10775868
Second Cycle is helping local neighborhoods reduce household waste with its first charitable donation center in Tampa Bay.
TAMPA, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Carrollwood - Second Cycle* is redefining convenience in charitable giving through its new charitable household donation center in Carrollwood. This initiative community drop-off center aims to reduce waste and supports the international non-profit organization, CLEAN International.
Join us on July 23, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m. for the grand opening of Second Cycle's first Tampa donation center at the Thorntons gas station at 4103 Gunn Highway, Tampa, FL.
The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA), local community members, and light refreshments. Locals are encouraged to bring clothing and household item donations and participate in this community-driven initiative.
Second Cycle's new staffed donation center in Carrollwood is revolutionizing charitable giving by making it easy for Tampa Bay residents to donate gently used clothing and household items at a central, secure, drop-off location - open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. These efforts aim to create a more sustainable community by reducing waste and helping fund local and national non-profits.

"We're making it easy for the community to positively impact the environment," said Salvatore Farruggia, Director of Real Estate for Second Cycle. "By donating lightly used household items, you reduce landfill waste and are actively saving the planet."
This Tampa location will benefit CLEAN International, a nonprofit that works globally to provide and protect clean water. Over two billion people lack access to clean water, and CLEAN International is working to change that.
"By donating your items, you help ensure they are reused, which helps protect the environment. Additionally, you support our goal of providing clean water for everyone, everywhere," said Ashley Bautista, Chief Global Impact Officer, CLEAN International. "We are excited to connect with Tampa residents on this project! Turn your used items into clean water through your donation at a Second Cycle donation center."
