Find Your ID NYC Presents: Two Weeks Out Until the #Blackout Fundraiser
eTradeWire News/10577130
NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- In two weeks, Find Your ID NYC (https://fyidnyc.com/)'s #BlackoutFundraiser will stream a mass-coordinated Instagram Live fundraiser event. Partnered with 30+ top U.S. Black event producers and non-profit organizers, the #BlackoutFundraiser aims to raise $100,000 to supplement Black-led social and political organizations that address racial injustices. FYID NYC and its collaborators are working towards the development of community enriching investments to provide opportunities, much like the prolific Marcus Garvey's Universal Negro Improvement and African communities. This collaboration will collect funding for the protection of Black people and their culture. Each donation given throughout the event will go to organizations such as the Innocence Project, Black Voters Matter, and Foundation Freedom.
Known for its dedication to developing creativity on an international level, Find Your ID NYC uses innovative marketing to curate platforms for their monthly women's empowerment showcase, #PYNKNYC, and their bi-annual Xchange Fashion Festival. The global creative agency vies to establish a cross-generational live event that addresses the importance of Black Culture and strengthening equality. Amidst the pandemic, collaborators tasked themselves with combatting the many obstacles preventing the growth of POC businesses and organizations. Through an eight-hour virtual festival, the #BlackoutFundraiser distinguishes itself by amplifying the voices of these communities. Participating organizations will feature events such as Caribbean fashion presentations, dance showcases, art exploration, live concerts, educational seminars, and more!
