Fashion Umbrella Foundation Provides School and Art Supplies to Arlington Elementary Students
eTradeWire News/10786392
BALTIMORE - eTradeWire -- The Fashion Umbrella Foundation is proud to announce the selection of Arlington Elementary School as the recipient of its Back-To-School: REFRESH program for the 2024/2025 school year. This initiative is designed to provide students in grades K-12 with critical school and art supplies to support their academic and creative development. The supplies will be delivered to mark the start of the new semester, helping students return to school feeling equipped and empowered.
The Back-To-School: REFRESH (BTSR) program, managed by the Fashion Umbrella Foundation, was founded to address the needs of students who may find themselves without essential supplies, such as pencils, notebooks, and art materials, during the school year. By providing these items after the winter break, the BTSR program aims to ensure students can focus on their studies without supply shortages interrupting their learning experience.
"Through the Back-To-School: REFRESH program, we aim to eliminate some of the readiness challenges students often face, especially after returning from winter break," said Nixon, Founder of the Fashion Umbrella Foundation. "As a single mother, I experienced these same challenges in raising my sons, and I know the impact it can have on a student's confidence and success. This program is our way of making it easier for other students and ensuring that they have the resources they need to focus on their education."

In support of the upcoming delivery to Arlington Elementary, the Fashion Umbrella Foundation is accepting donations of both school and art supplies. Contributions of items like pencils, folders, notebooks, and art materials will make a direct impact on the students' educational experience. Those interested in supporting this mission are encouraged to contact the Foundation to arrange a donation, helping ensure students start the new semester fully prepared.
