eTradeWire News/10503523
DALLAS - Nov. 19, 2018 - eTradeWire -- The Great Republic (TGR) unveils their latest American-made fantasy gift today – an extremely rare, fully restored, one-of-a-kind 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle for $65,000, which includes a day with the head of the restoration team learning the bikes operational nuances.

The now-legendary post WWII V-twin 1946 Indian Chief motorcycle features a smooth ride courtesy of forks that had been designed for desert use by the U.S. military during the war. During the 1910's Indian became the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in the world.

*Notably, Steve McQueen, an avid rider and collector of over 100 motorcycles in his lifetime, was said to favor vintage Indians. The original Indian motorcycle company was founded in 1901 in Springfield, Massachusetts USA, by bicycle racer George Hendee and Swedish immigrant Oscar Hedstrom.

The Great Republic Highland Park Village pop-up shop is open now through December 31st, 2018 offering a rare opportunity to see, first hand, and buy historically significant 19th century U.S. maps, engravings, sculptures, antique flags, and signed political memorabilia that have never been displayed in Texas before.
