Greatest Living Escape Artist Speaks From Firsthand Experience Surviving A Noose Hanging: I Don't Think Epstein Died By Hanging
COLUMBUS, Ohio - eTradeWire -- Noose Hanging Survivor Escape Artist Michael Griffin Says "The Physics Don't Add Up" in Epstein Case
Michael Griffin has felt a noose tighten under full body weight and survived it.
Now the two-time World Magic Award winner says the publicly discussed details surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's 2019 death do not align with what a true vertical hanging does to the human body.
"I've seen the pictures, I know exactly how rope behaves under gravity," Griffin says. "I've experienced full neck compression. From the pictures released and what has been described publicly, the mechanics don't add up."
Griffin survived a historically accurate noose hanging (https://youtu.be/6fkZI7s6bew) with his hands secured behind his back, modeling 19th-century execution methods. The ligature marks remained visible for days.

He is not offering a medical ruling or alleging misconduct. His comments focus strictly on biomechanics.
"In a genuine vertical suspension, tension pulls toward the anchor point. Compression patterns follow physics. They are not random," he said. "There's theory. And then there's experience. I've experienced it twice."
Griffin is available for national interviews to discuss rope mechanics, ligature direction, and what happens to the human neck under full noose load.
WHO: Michael Griffin — Noose Hanging Survivor, Two-Time World Magic Award Winner
WHAT: Experiential perspective on hanging mechanics
WHEN: Available immediately
WHERE: National broadcast and digital media
WHY: To examine the physics behind ligature tension and vertical suspension
Michael Griffin is a two-time World Magic Award-winning escape artist known for pushing the boundaries of what's possible. From breaking out of handcuffs and straitjackets to surviving dangerous stunts, to maintaining a $100,000 challenge worldwide to anyone who can keep him prisoner. Griffin has performed his astonishing feats around the world. His show, Weird Things, blends magic, comedy, and danger into an experience unlike any other.
