editaudio Launches Network with New Podcast Titled Hope This Finds Me Well
eTradeWire News/10613475
TORONTO - eTradeWire -- Veteran podcast production company, editaudio, launched their new podcast network with their debut original podcast, Hope This Finds Me Well on February 2. This new weekly podcast explores the past and future versions of ourselves and what we would want to tell them. Each letter is a journey of self-awareness and clarity, which corroborates with many studies (https://www.thecut.com/2014/10/why-you-should-w...) that find writing to oneself a significant factor in healing both physically and mentally.
"Podcasting is a new form of media, and because of that, we have more power to form the industry into what we want to see in our future. editaudio as a company and a network is built in a direct response to the lack of diversity. We're creating podcasts and production studios that are representative of the world we live in."

Hosts Maria, Steph and Sophie take listeners through just a few of the letters people wrote to themselves on the public letters' section at FutureMe.org; an online tool established in 2002 allowing people to create an email time capsule by writing their resolutions, plans, and thoughts they can revisit in the future.
In this first season, our Hope This Finds Me Well (https://pod.link/1549300789) hosts speak with people who have recently retrieved their past letters to themselves, and delve into why they wrote it and why it's important to them. Throughout the series, listeners will hear from guests who were struggling with identity, grief, heartache, but also about what brings joy, love, resilience, and growth. In Marie's story, listeners will hear about stress around debt, marriage problems, and not knowing what you're doing with your life. Later in the series, listeners will also hear from Noah, who first wrote when he had recently come to terms with being trans and how goal setting for the future made things less scary and more achievable.

The series also tackles real, unfiltered human stories that involve sensitive topics such as homophobia, racism, and the realities of domestic abuse.
Hope This Finds Me Well (https://pod.link/1549300789) was featured on NPR's The Pulse (https://pod.link/772127662/episode/c0804800f5071da8149ce1527c289659), where the host investigated the predictability of the future and the psychology behind how people write to their future selves.
