Edinburgh Shoe Storage Firm ShoeStack Announces Plan for European Expansion
eTradeWire News/10694281
ShoeStack makes innovative shoe display crates for people who want to display their sneakers with pride
EDINBURGH, Scotland - eTradeWire -- Edinburgh-based shoe storage company ShoeStack is building on its recent commercial success in the UK with plans to expand into Europe.
The fledgling company specialises in innovative shoe display cases that make storage fun and accessible. ShoeStack has already brought several new shoe accessories to the market.
Among the company's latest products are a sound-activated LED shoe box, which is already proving very popular among so-called 'sneakerheads' and is currently sold out and due back in stock within 6 weeks. Other Shoe Accessories now available at ShoeStack.co.uk include an adjustable shoe tree, a crease guard, a shoe horn and shoe cleaning wipes.
The news that this thriving Scottish startup has plans to expand into Europe is as poignant as it is inspiring. Bernardo Redzic — the young entrepreneur behind ShoeStack — arrived in Scotland as a refugee from war torn Bosnia after two years in a Croatian refugee camp.

Bernardo's mother endured unimaginable hardship to give her son a better life. His father wasn't able to join his young family in Scotland, leaving Bernardo and his mum to forge a new life for themselves in a country they didn't know.
The fact that Bernardo and his mother made a new life for themselves in the midst of such hardship is inspiring enough. But Bernardo's success as an entrepreneur and business owner is a testament to the young man's ambition, drive and determination to succeed.
The ShoeStack journey, like so many these days, was born from the founder's inability to find a product he really needed. In 2020, Bernardo was searching high and low for some shoe display crates. But despite looking everywhere, he simply couldn't find the product he wanted.
Bernardo soon realized that there was a gap in the market. He managed to find an overseas supplier and immediately ordered 1,000 boxes. After a telling-off from his mum for cluttering up the family home with shoe crates, Bernardo managed to sell all 1,000 reasonably quickly. The rest, as they say, is history.
ShoeStack now has rented facilities for its stock, as well as a growing presence across social media. The foundations of a global shoe storage brand are already in place, and Bernardo is determined to take the next step in his entrepreneurial journey — European expansion.

Despite achieving so much in such a short space of time, Bernardo hasn't allowed himself any time to sit back and relax. He has ploughed every penny earned so far back into the business.
Driven by his love of shoes and his desire to create a sustainable economic model, Bernardo is also determined to develop a sustainable and ethical business. The company is also committed to treating its employees with dignity and respect and giving something back to the local community.
Like so many of the world's greatest business people, Bernardo is hungry for growth. Ultimately, he wants people around the world to buy ShoeStack products to display their sneakers with pride. He said:
"I came to this country when I was two years old as a refugee from Bosnia. I have always dreamed of starting a successful company, and I think I've achieved a lot.
"But I'm ambitious, and I want ShoeStack to be a global brand. That's why we're attending sneaker events across Scotland & England, with plans for European Shows in 2023."
"For now, I want to invest every penny we make back into the business. We're constantly developing new products to expand our business and develop the ShoeStack brand — so watch this space!"
Bernardo's recent success indicates that ShoeStack is destined for bigger and better things. For now, his team is small — comprising friends, family and a part-time social media expert. But the sky's the limit for this fast-growing shoe storage brand.
