ECHO welcomes new COO to help lead organization on new five-year strategic plan

FORT MYERS, Fla. - eTradeWire -- ECHO, a leading player in sustainable agriculture and global food security, is pleased to announce Charles Mathews as its new Chief Operating Officer. Mathews comes to the non-profit organization with extensive experience managing global, multi-site international non-governmental organizations (INGOs).

Before arriving at ECHO, he spent 12 years at Samaritan's Purse serving the Asia and Latin America regions. He values effective stewardship of human, financial, and capital resources through his skilled project management in complex environments.

Mathews earned a master's in public administration focusing on International Development from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture Education, Communication and Leadership from the University of Kentucky.
