Earley Launches Campaign for State Senate
eTradeWire News/10826962
US Army Veteran Joe Earley is the Conservative Leader that is Needed in Charleston
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - eTradeWire -- US Army Veteran and Cybersecurity Professional Joseph (Joe) Earley announced his candidacy for the West Virginia State Senate in the 12th District. "Our state needs steady, principled, conservative leadership rooted in service, accountability, and common sense. As a lifelong West Virginian, I am concerned about the future of our state and our way of life. That's why today I am officially announcing my candidacy for State Senate," said Earley. "Helping our State starts with protecting our energy workers and communities by standing up for coal, responsible oil and natural gas development, and expanding into next-generation nuclear energy. Reliable, affordable energy is not just an economic issue—it is national security."
Earley is running on a platform of conservative and proactive leadership, growing energy and technology jobs, medical freedoms, improving technology infrastructure, helping small businesses, fiscal responsibility, affordability, and protecting life at all stages. "I am running because families—not government—know what is best for their children. As a father and grandfather, I will tell you plainly: parents deserve respect and are the primary authority in educating their children, in shared healthcare decision-making through informed consent, and in protecting their children from non-academic ideological mandates," said Earley. "I strongly support education freedom, including the Hope Scholarship, because parents should have real choices that fit their children's needs—whether public, private, homeschool, or vocational—without layers of bureaucracy."

"Our economy needs a boost with improving technology infrastructure that has been ignored for decades. Expanding broadband, strengthening technology infrastructure, and investing in advanced information technologies are essential for education, healthcare, small business growth, and public safety," said Earley. "My professional background gives me firsthand insight into how technology and infrastructure resilience protects communities and strengthens our economy."
Joe Earley Background
As a Son of West Virginia, Joe Earley is a proven patriot and leader who cares deeply about West Virginia. Earley was born in Montgomery and graduated from DuPont High School in 1978. Coming from a lineage of tradesmen, railway workers, coal miners, and military servicemen, Joe developed a strong work ethic at an early age. He entered the adult workforce as a tradesman in land and pipeline surveying at the early age of 17 years old. In 1982, he joined the United States Army as an Armor Crewman. His overseas assignments include service with the 3rd Squadron 11th Armored Cavalry (Blackhorse) Regiment in the Fulda Gap, two tours in the Republic of Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division, and a Kuwait Deployment with 3rd Battalion 69th Armor Regiment during Operation Vigilant Warrior.
After proudly and honorably serving our nation in uniform for over 20 years, Earley returned home to West Virginia and served as Training Director of a DoD Weapons of Mass Destruction Training and Exercise Program for Military and Civilian First Responders. In 2009, Earley relocated to North Central West Virginia to serve as a liaison for DoD Biometric Experimentation and Cybersecurity programs, and as a cybersecurity program team member with NASA Independent Verification and Validation Facility.
