M. Lawson has joined the Creators' Rights Movement as an author advocate, expanding her long-standing work at the intersection of literacy, education, and creator protection.
Through her involvement with CRM, Lawson will educate authors on copyright law and
intellectual property ownership through her weekly YouTube show, Horizons Author Lounge, which airs Mondays at 7 p.m. ET, as well as through nationwide public appearances and literary events, beginning with her 10th Annual Black History Month Literary Weekend in New Orleans, Feb. 19–21.
Lawson has also been named publicist for the upcoming Literacy Code Book Tour, an
initiative designed to promote literacy, elevate authors, and spark national dialogue around
creative ownership and access to education.
