As the United States population grew, and the economy became uncertain crimes increased with cities at an alarming rates, but since 1989 the criminal Justice System has released over 3,175 inmates that were, and are still being wrongfully convicted according to the study reports by the Equal Justice Initiative.
Devlin Barrett a reporter of the New York Times confirmed that least 1,000 FBI detective agents were either laid-off or discharged from their duties as public servants. This implies to many American citizens that some corrupt, and or unethical practices were being conducted within this domestic investigation department.
