INTERNATIONAL, U.K. - eTradeWire -- London, UK – 01.10.24 – Diversity in the Boardroom Ltd is excited to announce the launch of its new coaching initiative, 'Woman Up', aimed at empowering women working in male-dominated industries.
Despite growing efforts to promote gender diversity, women remain significantly underrepresented especially in male-dominated industries. In the tech sector, women account for only 26% of the workforce, and fewer than 10% hold executive roles. Similarly, women make up just 28% of the overall STEM workforce, with only 15% in engineering and 25% in computer science. In finance, leadership roles held by women stand at 19%, while the construction and sports industries report only 11% and 23% female representation, respectively.
