Del Mar to bring elevated cuisine to Fort Lauderdale with new oceanfront dining destination
eTradeWire News/10799533
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - eTradeWire -- The acclaimed Cameron Mitchell Restaurants (CMR) is adding to its iconic and award-winning establishments with a new Del Mar location opening in Fort Lauderdale in fall 2025. Offering an unparalleled oceanfront dining experience with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant will be Del Mar's largest location – encompassing over 17,000 square feet – and its first waterfront restaurant offering a beachfront bar and dining experience.
Inspired by Mediterranean coastal cuisine, Del Mar features flavors from a variety of southern European countries with a rotating and seasonal made-from-scratch menu that showcases a variety of seafood accompanied by fresh produce, rich olive oil and earthy spice blends. Handcrafted cocktails with refreshing flavors pair perfectly with the dishes and invite guests to relax amongst a scene of lush greenery and European-inspired architecture.

Following the success of the Del Mar flagship location in Naples, CMR has since expanded the concept with Del Mar locations in Columbus, Ohio and West Palm Beach, Florida, also set to open in 2025 at NORA, the new dining, entertainment and lifestyle district being built north of downtown West Palm Beach. The Fort Lauderdale restaurant will mark the fourth Del Mar location in the brand's growing portfolio.
CMR is also opening its nationally acclaimed seafood and steakhouse concept, Ocean Prime, on April 29 in Fort Lauderdale at Las Olas Marina on the Intracoastal Waterway, just under two miles south of Del Mar.
"Our commitment to exceptional service and culinary innovation has fueled incredible growth for the Del Mar brand, and we're excited to continue expanding this unique dining experience with our fourth location in the fall," said David Miller, president and COO of the Columbus, Ohio-based CMR. "This scenic beachfront destination will be an iconic fit for our first waterfront location as we deliver an elevated dining experience where modern elegance meets vibrant flavors."

Del Mar will occupy 12,000 square feet of indoor space and 5,000 square feet outdoors, with vast amounts of oceanfront patio seating and a large bar and will seat over 400 guests. The restaurant will also offer five private indoor dining rooms, an expansive outdoor private dining room with a terrace and a wine cellar.
