NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- Decibel, a leading nonprofit arts presenter, proudly announces an exciting new concert series that spotlights the talents of some of Japan's finest female jazz pianists. Titled From Tokyo to Times Square, the series will bring together an exceptional lineup of all-female pianists, including Kyoko Oyobe, Yayoi Ikawa, Miho Nobuzane, Miki Hayama, Eri Yamamoto, Martha Kato, and Rina Yamazaki.

Set to launch in November, From Tokyo to Times Square will run for seven months, offering New York audiences a unique opportunity to experience the rich jazz traditions of Japan, through the lens of these extraordinary women. Each performance will take place at Klavierhaus, 790 11th Avenue, an iconic venue renowned for its world-class instruments and commitment to excellence.
"We are thrilled to present this series, not just to showcase the incredible talents of Japan's top female pianists, but also to celebrate the global language of jazz," said Charles Carlini, Artistic Director of Decibel. "This series highlights the profound cultural connection between Tokyo and New York, two cities with deep jazz roots, while shining a spotlight on the women who are helping shape the future of jazz."
