eTradeWire News/10662584
DC Home Staging Company, Parker Staging has partnered with Chevy Chase MD based Temple Shalom to donate furniture and home decor to Afghan refugee family in Silver Spring, MD.
WASHINGTON - eTradeWire -- Parker Staging, one of Washington, DC's top Home Staging Companies recently partnered with Temple Shalom to donate furniture to a family of Afghan refugees through its Non-profit, Design Heals. With the rise in Afghan refugees resettling in the Washington DC area, Design Heals founder, Tiffany Parker has committed to helping the resettlement process by donating furniture and home decor essentials through her home staging company Parker Staging.
According to US News, there were a total of 16,350 Afghan and SIV resettlements in DC, MD and Virginia over the span of 2001-2021. For refugees, resettlement means starting over, adapting to brand new living conditions, culture and searching for work with sufficient pay to provide for their families. This is why it is important to Design Heals to alleviate this stressful experience by donating essential furniture to Afghan refugee families. Essential furniture includes but is not limited to couches, beds, dining sets, dressers, area rugs, coffee tables, etc. Each donation is determined by specific family need. This family received living and dining area furniture along with beautiful wall decor.
