ELLIJAY, Ga. - eTradeWire -- Ellijay, GA – Join us for an inspiring evening at the Dawn Loves Nash Fundraising Concert and Family Night, a heartfelt event supporting Fostering Roots, a caregiving program for foster parents in Gilmer County. September 14th From 5 PM to 9 PM at the Gilmer Arts Playhouse, enjoy a night of music, family activities, and community building.
Dawn Loves Nash, the charismatic husband-and-wife songwriting duo, will take center stage, sharing their 17 years of musical storytelling that blends love, life lessons, and soulful tunes. Their unique sound draws inspiration from legends like Elvis, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, and Patsy Cline, with comparisons to Jason Mraz, Fleetwood Mac, and the B52's. Their original, upbeat music, woven with warm harmonies, is sure to uplift and inspire all in attendance.

The concert aims to raise awareness and funds for Fostering Roots, a local advocacy program founded by Roots Thrift Stores. Fostering Roots supports foster parents and children by providing much-needed resources and additional care not covered by the foster care system. The program's mission is rooted in faith, aiming to plant seeds of hope and support for families and caregivers, ensuring they have the tools to grow and thrive. In addition to the music, families are encouraged to bring their kids and favorite table games to enjoy a fun, engaging community experience. It's a night of connection, where love for music meets love for community. A special thank you to all the Ellijay and Blue Ridge businesses - Ott Vineyards, Buckley Vineyards, The Good Berry, Evans Concrète, Cornerstone Café, Big Bear Ellijay, Beau-tiful Creations, the Hewitts, Mystic Mountain Pizza, Grateful Bread and more sponsoring a table enabling families to be invited out for Family Night that are not generally able to afford a night out together.
