DailyBreath Founder and CEO to speak at the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Annual Meeting

Until Now, Environmental Determinants of Health Afforded Little Attention in our Health Care System
CENTREVILLE, Va. - eTradeWire -- Eric Klos, the Founder and CEO of DailyBreath, an environmental health intelligence and wellness platform, will be speaking on Monday, January 29th, in two sessions at the American Meteorological Society's Annual Meeting.
In the 1st session, entitled The Road Less Traveled – Linking Business Education to Science and Vice Versa, he will highlight the lightbulb moment that started his environmental health journey, and the unique inspiration for his passion to support vulnerable populations experiencing the negative health impacts of environmental exposures in a changing climate. He'll describe his intersection with climate science and his nurturing over 10,000 hours in the environeental health domain as it has experienced a broader understanding and increased importance over the past 5 years.
In the 2nd session, entitled A Smoke Heatmap Overlay for Wildfires (SHOW) to Inform Risk and Track Associated Symptoms, Eric will share his recognition of wildfires and resultant wildfire smoke as an incidental exposure, incrementally increasing poor air quality, and worsening potential health impacts to vulnerable populations acutely as well as everyone's overall health and well-being. He will detail the importance of documenting ground-level and atmospheric-level smoke dynamically and associating symptoms actually experienced when a person is within a smoke dispersion path.
