NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- "As the Biden Administration extends the COVID-19 vaccine liability shield through 2029, Daryl Guberman, a 40+ year quality assurance expert, is offering a way forward for individuals injured by vaccines to seek justice despite the government's protections for pharmaceutical giants like Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson.

According to Guberman, the liability shield is only part of the story. "The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB) are underwriters for the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and its sister organization the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), Guberman highlights the troubling history of the IAF, an organization founded by ANSI-ANAB and incorporated in Delaware" he explains. Between 2015 and 2021, the IAF was chaired by Xiao Jianhua, a Chinese national and chief executive of the China National Accreditation Services (CNAS) in Beijing. Under China's National Intelligence Law, Xiao was required to extract technical data for the Chinese government, a mandate that raised concerns about the security of sensitive U.S. systems.

"The same CNAS that Xiao led was responsible for accrediting the Wuhan Institute of Virology in 2017," Guberman reveals. "This lab, known for its work with high-contagion viruses, was flagged in 2018 for lacking adequately trained technicians—an issue directly tied to human error in lab accidents."

In 2017, while Xiao Jianhua was certifying the Wuhan laboratory which was ill-prepared and should have not been issued a laboratory certifcation as seen here:https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/03/08/josh-rogin-chaos-under-heaven-wuhan-lab-book-excerpt-474322   , Pamela Sale, Vice President of Laboratory Accreditation for ANSI-ANAB, was giving a deposition in Texas in 2017 where she confessed " "one of the issues is that there is no commonly agreed-upon set of standards that forensics labs around the country have to follow. Shockingly, Guberman notes that federal agencies, including the CDC, NIH, FDA, DOJ, DHS, and others, sit on ANSI-ANAB's board, DHS, DOJ, Department of commerce, an FDA are not just members but also as customers paying for services. The extension of the vaccine liability shield means that pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson cannot be sued for injuries caused by their COVID-19 vaccines. However, Guberman insists there's another route.

"If you can't sue Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson, you can go after ANSI-ANAB,( since they are underwriters for  IAF, and ILAC,) he explains. "ILAC and IAF are currently attempting rebranding "GLOBAC"(Global Accreditation Cooperation) in an effort to evade liability and financial responsibility. But the evidence is clear: they've failed to uphold quality standards, and this failure has caused significant harm."
