CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties to Host 12th Annual 5K Run & Race Walk

The 24/7 crisis hotline's 2025 5K will be held on August 20, in honor of lost volunteers and loved ones.
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - eTradeWire -- CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties (CONTACT) invites the community to come together on August 20 for a powerful evening of remembrance and movement at their 12th Annual 5K Run and Race Walk. All proceeds will benefit CONTACT of Ocean & Monmouth Counties' 24/7 Crisis Intervention & Suicide Prevention Hotline.
The race will begin at 6:00 PM at the Howell High School Athletic Complex (405 Squankum-Yellowbrook Road, Farmingdale, NJ). The course will include roads in Howell and Farmingdale. Professional race results will be provided by CompuScore, with awards given out for placing overall and by age group.
Registration details vary by age and registration date.
This year's race is held in memory of loved ones who have lost their lives to personal battles, struggles and illness. We honor William Bruno, Jake Bukowiec, John Bukowiec, Jr., Jared Crippen, Kevin Glass, Connor Mahan, Brian McDonough, Bubba O'Reilly, Walter Reitsma, Bill Whittaker and all CONTACT volunteers who have passed.
