CEE to Host Webinar on Radiology

MCLEAN, Va. - eTradeWire -- The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) presents "Health Science Highway: Radiology," a cost-free webinar on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 5-6:15 p.m. ET via Zoom. Join to learn more about the science that informs the in-demand careers across the radiology field.
Registration is open to all interested.
Distinguished speakers include:
Yueh Z. Lee, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Radiology & Adjunct Assistant Professor in Physics, Astronomy & Biomedical Engineering, University of North Carolina. Dr. Lee completed his medical and doctoral degrees (Biomedical Engineering) at UNC-Chapel Hill. After completing UNC's MD/PhD program, he completed his Internship (Medicine), Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship at UNC. He serves as the department's "translational" scientist and clinical neuroradiologist. He is a developer of the carbon nanotube CT scanner, and a 1990 alum of CEE's Research Science Institute (RSI).

Sarah Sarvis Milla, MD, FAAP, Chief of Radiology, Children's Hospital Colorado; Section Chief & Vice Chair of Pediatric Radiology, University of Colorado Department of Radiology; Professor of Radiology & Pediatrics, University of Colorado School of Medicine. She earned a BS in Biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), received her medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, and is board certified in Radiology. She is a 1991 alum of CEE's RSI program.

In partnership with the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, this series aims to address the health workforce shortages across the country. The series sheds light on the science behind career opportunities in health sciences, including radiology, nursing, pharmacology, and more.
