Students will explore a range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, sonographic patient care, and the physical principles of ultrasonic waves. Coursework includes specialized training in areas such as obstetrics, gynecology, vascular studies, abdominal imaging, and superficial and small parts.

Graduates of the program will be eligible to take certification exams through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS). The curriculum is designed to equip students with both the technical knowledge and interpersonal skills needed in today's healthcare environment, including patient care, critical analysis, communication, and ethical practice.
"Our new Carrington College Temecula campus is designed to replicate real-world clinical settings, giving students a strong foundation as they transition into the workforce," Gomez added. "This program, like all Carrington College program offerings, is built with student success in mind. We're not just training sonographers—we're shaping healthcare professionals."
