Cadcorp launches new Call for Sites application
eTradeWire News/10781877
STEVENAGE, U.K. - eTradeWire -- Cadcorp has announced a new Call for Sites application for Local Authorities. The digital site assessment application was launched at a recent online event co-hosted by East Herts District Council who spoke about the successes they are achieving with it.
Cadcorp Call for Sites allows landowners, developers, agents, and site promoters to suggest sites considered to have the potential for future sustainable development. This can include sites for housing and employment, community facilities, habitat creation and biodiversity enhancement, and infrastructure. Sites can be proposed online by either drawing an area on a web map or uploading a GIS file. Then, after completing an application form, the site proposal can be submitted electronically, with supporting documentation, to the council. The council can then assess the suitability of the land use change.
