CHICAGO - eTradeWire -- Get ready for the literary event of the summer as Burst Into Books hosts the 3rd Annual Words of Wonder (W.O.W.) Literary Festival! This year's festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, taking place on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 11 AM to 6 PM at the Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center.
This spectacular event will feature an impressive lineup of talent, including the renowned Author Derrick Barnes, the brilliant Illustrator Vanessa Brantley-Newton, and the insightful Moderator Dr. Gholdy Muhammad, among many others.
The 3rd Annual W.O.W. Literary Festival is the ultimate celebration of the magic of books and the joy of storytelling, designed for young readers and writers of all ages!
The festival will consist of interactive literacy and art programming, opportunities for youth and families to connect with community resources, animated storytelling by minority authors and illustrators, a diverse group of book vendors and installations for all ages, story-based dance, interactive writing workshops, Indigenous and African styled drumming, a wide range of live music and entertainment, healthy food choices and snacks, giveaways and so much more!!
