BookPop Media Group, LLC & Weber Comm's, Inc. File Lawsuit Against Plenti Corporation, Co.,
eTradeWire News/10772630
BANGKOK - eTradeWire -- BookPop Media Group, LLC and Weber Communications, Inc. File Lawsuit Against Plenti Corporation, Co., Ltd., and Its Principals for Breach of Contract, Fraud, etc.
Los Angeles, CA - June 10, 2024 – BookPop Media Group, LLC of Westlake Village, CA, and Weber Communications, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA, announce they have filed a lawsuit in LA County Superior Court against Plenti Corporation, Co., Ltd., and its principals, CEO Mr. Boonyarit Khomchunsri and Managing Director Yod Sukwiwat, claiming breach of contract, fraud, and deceptive business practices.
Since January 2024, BookPop and Weber have been in business with Plenti Corporation, Co., Ltd. of Bangkok and its CEO, Mr. Khomchunsri, also known as "Gong," on the feasibility of developing a theme park with a major global brand in Bangkok. They recently issued a Cease & Desist letter to Plenti et al referencing this lawsuit.
The parties signed a contract on February 28, 2024, in which Mr. Khomchunsri was to pay $500,000 for services rendered and to be rendered, with a schedule of three payments ending on April 1, 2024. However, Mr. Khomchunsri has failed to meet his payment obligations and has repeatedly requested extensions, citing various reasons.

Despite multiple attempts to settle the dispute amicably over the past 90 days, Mr. Khomchunsri's commitment to honor the agreement has not been fulfilled. His explanations have included failed financing from a business relationship with the former Attorney General of Thailand, Mr. Wongsakul Kittipromwong, and subsequent promises of loans from the former Honorable Prime Minister of Thailand, Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra. Both Mr. Khomchunsri and Mr. Sukwiwat have represented that the former Prime Minister had confirmed his participation in this project, and that funding was imminent.
However, after more than 3 months, the Plaintiffs have been left waiting for loans that never materialized, with no clear details on the timeline of the alleged funding. As time has passed, it has become increasingly apparent there are no any legitimate agreements with PM Shinawatra's associates as represented.
Moreover, Mr. Khomchunsri's refusal to meet with the partners in Bangkok and his communication only through his assistant have added to the frustration. After months of patience and failed negotiations, BookPop Media Group, LLC and Weber Communications have decided to take legal action to hold Mr. Khomchunsri and Mr. Sukwiwat accountable for their contractual obligations.
