Bookmarked Podcast and Blog Hosts Four Time Children's Author
eTradeWire News/10777528
ASHEVILLE, N.C. - eTradeWire -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is thrilled to have had the opportunity to chat with Jocelyn M. Lacey—author of four children's books—on Bookmarked, the company's weekly podcast and blog duo.
Jocelyn Mooneyhan Lacey is a native of Johnson City, Tennessee where she graduated from East Tennessee State University with a BA in Mass Communications. After living in Maine and the Northeast for the past 14 years, she recently relocated to Blowing Rock, North Carolina where she lives with her husband, two dogs, a cat, and fish. She can be contacted via e-mail at Hapigirl10@hotmail.com or on Instagram @Hapigirl10.
Lacey is the author of four beautifully illustrated children's books, Pierre the Peacock, Coral's First Sleepover, What Do Police Officers Do?, and An Angel Named Johnia.
Pierre the Peacock, Lacey's debut publication, introduces readers to Pierre, a peacock who thinks that he will get friends just from his pretty looks. When he meets Jerry, a colorblind little boy, Jerry teaches Pierre that what matters is how you treat people, not what you look like.

In her most recent release, An Angel Named Johnia, Lacey tells the true story of her dearly departed friend, Johnia Berry. Johnia was a graduate of ETSU and a student of UT Knoxville until she was tragically murdered in December 2004. With the support of Johnia's mother, Lacey's children's book tells of a sweet and beautiful young woman who has questions about where her journey leads her...will she get her answers when she gets to Heaven?
Listeners can hear Lacey discuss all of her published works on this week's episode of Bookmarked.
JCP's Bookmarked is a joint experience between the company's weekly blog and podcast. Every Wednesday the Bookmarked Blog highlights sneak peeks from the upcoming podcast episode, including blog-exclusive questions for featured authors. On the podcast, which releases every Friday, JCP members Allison and Draco sit down with authors to discuss everything from their inspirations to their upcoming publications.
