A Night of Romance and Rhythm Featuring Puerto Rico's Trio Remembranza & L.A.'s Tres Souls
CHICAGO - eTradeWire -- The acclaimed music series Boleros de Noche is set to make its long-awaited debut in Chicago, bringing the soul-stirring sounds of bolero to Symphony Center on April 12, 2025. This one-night-only event promises a mesmerizing journey through Latin America's most passionate and poetic genre, featuring Puerto Rico's Trio Remembranza and Los Angeles' own Tres Souls.
Keeping the Romance Alive: The Artists
From the heart of Quebradillas, Puerto Rico, Trio Remembranza is known for its evocative melodies that transport audiences to golden memories of love and longing. Founded in 2015 by Gabriel "Gaby" Rodríguez Ortiz, the trio blends lush harmonies and exquisite guitar work to create a truly timeless sound. Their upcoming album—featuring the already beloved single "Amorosa Guajira"—is a testament to the enduring power of bolero music.
Joining them is Tres Souls, a Los Angeles-based trio breathing new life into the golden age of bolero. With their signature blend of nostalgia and innovation, Roberto Carlos, Jesús Martínez, and Rocio Mendoza channel the romance of 1940s–1960s Mexican trío romántico music while infusing it with fresh, bilingual interpretations. Their debut album, Boleros Made in L.A., was a love letter to the genre, and their performances create an electric connection between past and present.

● Became one of only 40 recipients of the L.A. County Performing Arts Recovery Grant
● Sold out The Ford Theater with ®Grammy-winning artists like Gaby Moreno, Marisoul (La Santa Cecilia), and the legendary Los Panchos
Now, for the first time ever, Boleros de Noche is bringing its magic to Chicago.
Bolero: A UNESCO Cultural Treasure
Bolero music's legacy was officially recognized on December 5, 2023, when UNESCO inscribed the genre as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity—cementing its status as a global cultural treasure.
