Atlanta-based media company Empower  Media Group (EMG) announced the 2020 Black Media Honors – the annual two-hour television special that honors broadcasting, public relations, media, mass communication, journalism icons who have influenced and made significant contributions to the media industry. The awards weekend is set to take place from Friday, April 25th through Sunday, April 26th, 2020 in Atlanta, GA.

Some of this year's confirmed attendees for the 2020 Black Media Honors™️ include Mikki Taylor (Essence Magazine Editor-at-Large), Jeff Johnson (BET, Rickey Smiley Morning Show,  NAACP), Dr. Rashad Richey (Political Analyst for MSNBC, Radio One Personality, Rolling Out), Morgan DeBaun (Founder of Blavity), Dr. Heavenly Kimes (Bravo Married to Medicine), Celebrity DJ Jay Claxton, Dr. Casay Vaughn (Media Mogul), Dion Summers (VP of Programming SiriusXM) and more.
