Civics & Citizenship Classes for the Community.
Max Koppelman, a rising Junior at The Dwight-Englewood School has lived in Guttenberg his whole life and is deeply connected to his community. By creating the program "Aprendemos Juntos" ("we learn together"), he aims to share his love of Spanish and civics with the entire neighborhood. The program will be offered for free every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. from Jul. 22 to Aug. 14 at the Guttenberg Resource Center, located downstairs in the Galaxy Towers Mall, 7002 Boulevard East. The program comes as a result of Max's passion for Spanish, which has been cultivated since he was three years old and has inspired him to create lessons in American civic duties and politics
