Institute for Excellence in Sales Releases Industry Best Practices Report Featuring Insights from Premier B2B Women in Sales Employers

VIENNA, Va. - eTradeWire -- The Institute of Excellence in Sales (IES), which has quickly achieved recognition as the center of excellence for corporate and business to business (B2B) women in sales best practices, released its anticipated "Best Practices for Attracting, Retaining and Elevating Women and Underrepresented Communities in Sales" report today. The report is the first such deliverable from the organization as part of its Premier Women in Sales Employer (PWISE) designation and best practices program.

The PWISE designation was announced in April 2023 to highlight companies that have a track record of retaining and elevating women in sales talent. The inaugural companies that achieved the designation and participated in the best practice roundtables were Carahsoft, Cvent, Datasite, JG Wentworth, Oracle, Salesforce and Splunk.

"The IES is committed to helping companies advance their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) programs to retain top-tier sales professionals," said Gina Stracuzzi, IES women in sales program director. "This is our first report of many that will highlight what progressive companies are doing and offers incentives for other companies to do more as the retention challenge continues."

"The best practices that we as a group were able to uncover were remarkable," said Rita DeFilippo, VP, sales programs, Salesforce global public sector. "Women in sales are looking to grow their careers at companies that care about retention of top-tier talent and deploy best practices such as these. The IES pulled this compelling information together to assist companies as they transform how they support their sales professionals."

"Representatives from the PWISE companies helped us identify best practices in recruiting, Employee Resource Groups and corporate commitment to a diverse sales force," said Fred Diamond, cofounder of the IES. "The best practices we captured set the standard for these initiatives that other companies can strive for."
