The championship cups, crafted with the unique traditions of each league in mind, are a testament to the spirit and excellence of lacrosse. Bennett Awards worked closely with both the PLL and WLL to produce stunning trophies that were as distinctive as the leagues themselves.

Custom Design, Quick Turnaround

Facing tight deadlines, Bennett Awards delivered custom-designed trophies that incorporated both functionality and elegance. Rather than starting from scratch, the design team used a pre-existing pewter cup as a base and added customized handles representing the logos of the PLL and WLL. For the men's championship trophy, the handles mimicked the basket shape of a lacrosse stick, while the women's trophy featured handles shaped like wings to symbolize speed and agility.

Both trophies stood at an impressive 24 inches tall and were designed to be functional as cups, honoring the long-standing tradition of athletes celebrating wins by drinking from their championship cups.

Historic Victories Celebrated

The 2025 PLL Lexus Championship Series saw the Boston Cannons defend their title against the Utah Archers, as back-to-back champions. Meanwhile, the WLL made history with its first-ever Maybelline Championship Series, where the Boston Guard  triumphed over the New York Charging. Both winning Boston teams hoisted their championship cups to celebrate their historic achievements.

The eye-catching trophies were more than just awards—they played a key role in promoting both leagues' championship series, building anticipation and excitement among players and fans. Following the championship games, both the PLL and WLL shared images of their custom cups as a central feature in their victory celebrations, solidifying their status as iconic symbols of achievement.
