Join BACH and OnLok for a day of health screenings, wellness resources, and fun activities for all ages.
FREMONT, Calif. - eTradeWire -- Bay Area Community Health (BACH) is pleased to announce this year's annual Ohana Health and Resource Fair will be taking place on Saturday, August 3rd from 10 AM to 2 PM at 3055 McKee Road in San Jose and on Saturday, August 10th from 11 AM to 3 PM at 37055 Newark Blvd. in Newark.
The upcoming health fairs will offer a range of essential services, including blood pressure and dental screenings, and chronic disease checks. BACH is thrilled to partner with OnLok for the first time to bring this vital event to the San Jose community.
This collaboration aims to raise awareness about accessible healthcare services and resources. Attendees can discover a wealth of health and wellness resources, connect with local experts, and enjoy free screenings. The event will also feature music, raffle prizes, activities for all ages, and public benefits enrollment.

"Ohana means "family". This health fair is reflective of the sense of family and inclusivity that both BACH and On Lok provide for our local communities. Both organizations' focus on wellness, prevention, and education only strengthens our collaborative efforts of community service," says Lok chief operating officer (COO) Nicole Torres.
In addition to the health screenings, participants can take advantage of various informational booths that provide insights into nutrition, fitness, mental health, and preventive care.
