Author Releases New Appalachian Suspense Novel
eTradeWire News/10837401
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - eTradeWire -- Jan-Carol Publishing, Inc., of Johnson City, Tennessee, is thrilled to announce the release of The Blood of the Wine by Daryll Simcox.
Daryll K. Simcox, a lifelong resident of the Appalachian Mountains in Southwest Virginia, draws inspiration from a life spent immersed in the region's natural beauty. His passion for hunting, fishing, and hiking informs his storytelling, bringing authenticity and depth to the landscapes he portrays.
His third novel, The Blood of the Wine, spins the tale of strange and terrifying creatures that have begun to emerge within the depths of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As night falls over the Southern Appalachian forests, an eerie chill settles in, turning the wilderness into something out of a nightmare. Under the pale glow of the moon, park rangers race against time to uncover the truth behind these beings' sudden arrival-before more lives are lost.
Early reviews paint a thrilling picture of Simcox's newest novel. "The Blood of the Wine is the hunter, and you're the prey. This story is full of heart and horror; a clever take on werewolves in the Great Smoky Mountains." —Jessica Brimer, author of the Messy Bookshop Mysteries series
