ORLANDO, Fla. - eTradeWire -- Atrium Capital Group announced today that it has broken ground on its first mixed-used, multifamily project called Milk Stacks. The project is centrally located in Orlando's Milk District, one of the fastest-growing submarkets in the downtown area. Verity Construction, LLC is the awarded contractor of the Class A, mixed-use, multifamily project consisting of 25 units and 2 live-work units totaling 25,260 square feet.

Atrium Capital Group's development team consists of Adam Wonus, Managing Partner; Michael Krause, Partner; and Emma Maury, Sr. Development Manager.

Wonus and his development team were inspired by the Milk District's historic character and have embraced the iconic, mid-century neighborhood design. Featuring sleek, simplified geometry, the Milk District's close proximity to Downtown Orlando will capitalize on the surrounding area's diversity as well as its walkability to high-traffic retail locations. Atrium Capital Group has put extensive effort into maintaining the Milk District's vintage feel, while still tapping into contemporary methods and standards.

ELEVEN18 Architecture is the architect for the project. "As architects and designers, we are always excited when our client allows creative license on the design front," said Kim McCann, Partner. She added, "And to work on something so close to our office where we can watch our design come to life is an added benefit."

The project is estimated to create about 100 jobs during the construction period and generate significant tax revenue for Orange County.
