ASA Appraisal Courses at Massachusetts College of Art and Design

eTradeWire News/10503397
RESTON, Va. - Nov. 16, 2018 - eTradeWire -- The American Society of Appraisers announces new 2019 Principles of Valuation class dates to be held at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt).

Taught by accredited senior appraisers, the series of four courses is designed for prospective personal property appraisers and focuses on valuation theory and methods common to many areas of expertise. The classes are of interest not only to those working with fine and decorative arts and antiques but also with other types of personal property, including vintage automobiles, books and manuscripts, oriental carpets and more. The Principles of Valuation course of study draws students from a wide variety of backgrounds and offers an opportunity to meet and collaborate with individuals with a range of expertise. Students interested in accreditation by the American Society of Appraisers must take these four classes in sequence, and must then take and pass the Uniform Standards or Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
