CHICAGO - eTradeWire -- Armor Research Company, in collaboration with the Ogle County Sheriff's Office, will hold a special media event at 1:00 PM on August 20th at the Ogle County Sheriff's Office in Oregon, Illinois, to honor three officers who were shot in the line of duty in Dixon this past June. The event, hosted by Sheriff Brian VanVickle, will include an update on the incident and the health of the officers involved.

During the event, Armor Research Company's CEO, Kennith Hall, will present a brand new shield to one of the officers, replacing the shield that took rounds during the incident and is no longer in service. The shield's inventor, retired officer Jim Boydd, will be acknowledged for his life-saving creation.
