GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - eTradeWire -- Anton R. Williams, a Grand Rapids business owner in the energy, real estate and social service industries, has recommended Dallas Theological Seminary for academic training for ministry. In 2024, Dallas Seminary held courses in the State of Michigan for the first time in its history which stretches over 100 years. The school was founded by prominent theologian Lewis Chafer in 1924. Dallas Seminary has continued to grow and expand their locations over the past century.

GMNF's recommendation for Dallas Theological Seminary notes that it is the largest non denominational seminary in the world with over 2,600 students from over 100 countries and 70 denominations. Additionally, Dallas Seminary has about 800,000 learners who take free courses through the schools DTS Global Institute. The school has about 17 degree programs from Masters of Arts to Master of Theology, Doctor of Ministry and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Anton's recommendation of Dallas Theological Seminary, particularly for courses in Michigan where his GMNF Global Missions organization is located, has been a catalyst for additional interest in education at Dallas within the state. Surveys and additional data metrics which were initiated and shared by GMNF shows a growing interest in the Dallas Seminary in Michigan. A program that is being initiated by GMNF will include cohorts for Dallas Seminary which comprise of people internal to the org, its partners as well as other interested stakeholders. Several funding programs are being created as well to offer tuition free education for Dallas Seminary through GMNF and other organizations.
