Analog Game Studios Launches Kill the King on BackerKit as Part of Pocketopia 2026
eTradeWire News/10836460
The razor-sharp new social deduction card game of the year, designed by Will Hutcheson and his sons Jack and Sam is now live on BackerKit.
TORONTO - eTradeWire -- Analog Game Studios has officially launched Kill the King on Backerkit, as part of the highly anticipated Pocketopia 2026 initiative.
Designed by Will Hutcheson and his sons Jack and Sam, Kill the King is a fast-paced social deduction card game where players bluff, attack, manipulate power, and attempt to eliminate the King, or survive as him.
Often described as a combination of Clue, elements of Chess, and a party game colliding into one experience, Kill the King draws on hidden information, tactical decision-making, and highly interactive gameplay in a compact and highly replayable format.
The game features 11 unique characters, each with distinctive powers and strategic possibilities, wrapped in a striking visual presentation created by artist Simon Paul using a bold palette of black, gold, and grey.
"Kill the King is the kind of game that keeps players coming back for 'just one more round,'" said Richard MacRae of Analog Game Studios. "It's fast, highly social, easy to learn, and creates memorable moments almost immediately and expected to be this year's best social deduction game."
