WASHINGTON - eTradeWire -- Amida Technology Solutions, Inc., an open source software company specializing in data management, today announced that it has been awarded a three-year, $17 million prime contract from the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to support the Modern Claims Processing (MCP) support services program. The contract was awarded under GSA's Schedule 70 contract vehicle.

As the prime contractor for MCP, Amida will work with VA to develop and refine hospitalization reporting capabilities related to benefit entitlement reviews and decisions. Amida will conduct data analytics-based studies of current disability compensation operations to simplify the claims adjudication process for VA employees. Leidos, Deloitte, and VetEZ will support us on this work.
