PEARL RIVER, N.Y. - eTradeWire -- ALGO Online Retail is the lead provider of support, training, and tools for online retailers selling brand name products on Amazon. They have 100+ years of expert e-commerce experience. They recently wrote a blog post about new changes coming to Amazon in February of 2021.

Amazon wants to consistently provide its Prime customers with free and fast shipping. They are making significant investments to their fulfillment and transportation capabilities to make Prime a 1-day delivery program. Even before COVID Amazon sellers were struggling to keep up to the Prime promise in the FBA Onsite and Seller Fulfilled Prime programs. So Amazon is making the difficult decision to close their FBA Onsite program, and they are upping the criteria to quality for the Seller Fulfilled Prime program. Amazon is making these changes because the current performance of the program is not meeting customers' expectations. They are announcing these changes now to give sellers enough time to prepare for the new Seller fulfilled Prime program.
