ALA NYC Chapter and Legal IT Firms Unite to Support Breast Cancer Research
eTradeWire News/10815960
NEW YORK - eTradeWire -- This past weekend, the New York City Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA NYC) once again demonstrated the power of community by participating in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park. With 22 team members and more than $5,400 raised, ALA NYC was recognized as one of the event's top fundraising teams. Organizers anticipate the final total will exceed $6,500 before fundraising officially closes.
For the second consecutive year, Innovative Computing Systems led the charge, coordinating support across the legal technology community. Four additional IT service providers—Sorbis, AllCovered, Afinety, and Kraft Kennedy—joined Innovative in a unified effort to support the fight against breast cancer.
"This is about more than just raising money," said Michael Kemps, CEO and Founder of Innovative Computing Systems. "It's about setting aside competition to support a cause that impacts so many of our clients, colleagues, and communities. We are proud to stand with our peers to make a meaningful difference."
