The publisher of the new book, Philly Girl: Top 40 Women Who Have Changed the World, is searching for 2 more women to join the 38 already chosen. "We're looking for the women who are well-known in their communities but may not be well-known to the world. Nominations can also include deceased women who made an incredible contribution that should be included in the book," explained the publisher.

The women recognized in the book have varied professions in the fields of Entertainment, Justice, Healthcare, Philanthropy and Sports. Some were Trailblazers and others depict women's role in History.
Nominations are accepted online at PhillyGirlBook.com until August 5th, 2026, 11:59pm EDT. There is a nominal fee of $5 which is non-refundable. Details can be found on the website.
